Fundamental in effectively reaching young people is speaking their language, meeting their interests and providing direct access to information and linkage to SRHR services whenever necessary away from traditional intermediaries such as teachers, peer educators and community health workers. This operational research study confirmed the effectiveness of web-based and mobile platforms in promoting the utilization of SRHR information and services among young people aged 15-24 years in Nairobi County. The platforms were able to easily and rapidly penetrate youth interests as they are seen as trendy, convenient, confidential, interactive, affordable and easy to access. Similar platforms will be advanced in Tanzania and Uganda.Go Back
